The story of Vietto begun ten years ago. Designer Minna Kaartinen found pretty tartan cloth and started to create small Scottish Dog shaped brooches. They became the first hit product of the design studio. Now, ten years later Minna decided to bring them back in a modernized form.
During the years Vietto has launched numerous collections and provided comfortable, conscious and unusual but timeless fashion to different women around Finland, including myself and even Finland's Eurovision Song Contest 2016 representative Sandhja and her crew. They were carrying Vietto's Urban Art Deco dresses that are absolutely fabulous. I also have one in silver back at home. It is one of my safe choices whenever I don't know what I should wear. That actually applies to all of my Vietto pieces - they are always comfy to wear at the same time as they look interesting and stylish.
Urban Art Deco print has then also appeared in other pieces, such as this lovely miniskirt and earrings.
Vietto does all of their production in Finland. Prints and designs are by Minna Kaartinen, the designer and founder of the brand. Nowadays she has a sewer to help out with the production. Sustainable materials and ecological basis have been important principles for Vietto since the beginning.
What I really love about Vietto are their cool, urban pieces that are both laid-back and stylish. They are simple but interesting, unusual and timeless. Dream pieces of an adventurous city girl.
